At Standard Oil - 1929
The original photo was wide angle of a Standard Oil service station, with John standing in front. Since our interest is John, not Standard Oil, I clipped him out.
Tookie's caption, under the photo, was:
"When Dad enters picture 1929."
John was born in April 1912 and this was his first job out of high school.
