Peter McLaren - Watchman
In the late 1920s Peter McLaren, Jr. had moved to the harbor of Los Angeles and taken a job as a watchman on the docks. This picture was actually a sliver, cut from one edge of a small photo, of Peter in his uniform. The extra ground at his feet was added just to ensure he remained upright.
He would be at least sixty when this picture was taken.
